Kitab Yunus Sebagai Kritik Ideologi Eksklusif Israel (Yunus 4:1-11)

Abstract


Yunus masuk ke dalam daftar kitab nabi-nabi kecil, namun berbeda dari kitab nabi-nabi pada umumnya. Kitab ini memuat narasi tentang kisah seorang yang bernama Yunus, bukan rekaman khotbah yang ia wartakan seperti kitab nabi-nabi pada umumnya. Penafsiran terhadap kisah Yunus seringkali berorientasi pada kesetiaan tugas pelayanan. Dengan menggunakan metode sosio-ideologis, ada hal lain yang dapat dilihat melalui kisah Yunus. Dialog dalam Yunus 4:1-11 memperlihatkan kritik Allah terhadap ideologi eksklusif Israel. Narasi memperlihatkan kritik terhadap ideologi agama nasionalistik tradisional Yunus. Corak ekslusivisme Yunus mereprentasikan orang-orang pada pasca-pembuangan yang membatasi diri sebagai ‘umat pilihan’. Dengan metode sosio-ideologis, tulisan ini mengulas bagaimana konteks ideologis yang dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pembuangan.
