King James Version Bible : Sejarah dan Implikasinya Bagi Kekristenan Masa Kini

Abstract


King James Version Bible sebagai salah satu karya keagamaan dan kesusastraan telah mengubah kehidupan umat Allah, Kekristenan dan dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari sejarah dan implikasi dari Alkitab yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1611 oleh prakarsa Raja James I. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi perpustakaan untuk memperoleh data-data yang berkaitan dengan sejarah dan implikasi King James Version Bible. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa penerjemahan Alkitab pada masa pemerintahan Raja James I telah berdampak kepada kehidupan beragama dan sosial kemasyarakatan di Inggris, juga di seluruh koloni Inggris; bahkan mengubahkan dunia sampai saat ini.
